DatingDr Answers: Friend Cheating Online
Continuing in our series of DatingDr answers, this week we are featuring a very interesting question from Joshua in Phoenix about a cheating friend... read on!
Joshua: "I really don't know what to do. One of my best friends is married to a pretty damn cool woman, who I have always had a thing for. But I got over that, until recently - I found out he is using CraigsList to meet and mess around with other women! What do I do? I am mad that he is treating her this way. Do I say anything?"
DatingDr: "Well that is a tough one. Sounds like this guy is a bit of a jerk - but how much of it is to do with the fact you probably still want her? If you say something to her about it, then you may lose a great friend. But if you don't say anything, then its unfair to her. It really depends on your true motives. My advice? Tell him that you made a dating post on Craigslist and that his wife replied to you wanting to meet, without knowing it was you... give him a taste of his own medicine, then come clean. That will make him see sense... and get realistic - dating friends ex-wife's never works for anyone either... "
