Date.com buys MatchMaker.com
Ah that brings back the days. Back in 1996 I used to use MatchMaker.com. It was great - they let you have a completely free 10 day trial and I used to meet so many people on that! Anyway, those times are no more. Date.com have just brought them out and they now mainly focus on serious matchmaking for people who are looking to get married. Since 2000 they really weren't doing too well and I haven't used them for years... who knows, maybe Date.com (who are doing very well!) can turn them around.
Update on my internet dating - I have been having great success with meetme at hotornot.com. Since they have introduced the ability to have more than 1 photo, it seems like way more people are using it. I am currently speaking with 3 women online that I have matched with... we shall see what happens! Got to go - just recieved another email from a girl I met on there!
