What I really hate...
...about paying for dating on websites like Match.com or Yahoo Personals is this. You sign up, you do a search and find someone who is SO suited to you, and is your probable soul mate. You email them, thinking 'wow, we are so going to connect!', but you never hear from them. You are soooo let down. And you know why they didn't reply? Because chances are the person you emailed isn't a paying member and can't even read your email, let alone see you are their soul mate and email you back!
I even called Match.com about this one day to see what they thought, and lets just say this, they didnt really have an answer. Of course they didnt, because it doesn't make the best business sense to allow non-paying members to reply to emails. They want your money ultimately, and not your happiness in love. Thats why the only time I ever use Yahoo personals or Match.com is for the free trial and then cancel after the 3 or 7 day trial ends so they can't charge my credit card. Get in, grab some real emails and phone numbers, then get out before they charge you. By far the easiest way to meet people online I think is still using MySpace and CraigsList. If you haven't read my free dating ebooks all about this, I suggest you do so and save yourself $30 or so bucks a month on dating fees!
